I was born and raised in Stearns County. Coming to St. Cloud was always something me and my family looked forward to - the events, the activities, and a thriving community that felt alive.
After high school, I enlisted in the military. Then 9/11 happened. Within a few weeks, I left for basic training.
After every deployment, I would come home to Minnesota to visit family and friends. I'll never forget driving on I-94 from the airport. Every single time I saw the sign that said 'Stearns County', I felt a sense of relief come over me. No matter where I'd been, or what I'd seen, I was home.
That is what I will be fighting for.
St. Cloud Is My Home
I remember a St. Cloud with new, growing, thriving businesses. A place where you felt safe and secure around town - day or night. A city where neighbors had an overwhelming sense of gratitude and appreciation for each other. No matter what our differences were, St. Cloud was home.
Lately, St. Cloud has been trending away from the things that made it home. Together, we can make St. Cloud a better home for all of us.
Commitment To Service
Service has always been an important part of my life. As a veteran, I learned the value of accountability, discipline, leadership, and putting others before yourself. Those lessons have stayed with me, and they continue to shape how I see community, responsibility, and public service.
I believe leadership starts with listening, showing up, and doing the work — not just talking about it. That is the kind of leadership I want to bring to the St. Cloud City Council.
Why I'm Running For City Council
I’m running for St. Cloud City Council because I care about the future of this city. Residents deserve to feel safe, know their tax dollars are being spent responsibly, and have confidence that city leaders are making decisions with integrity, accountability, and transparency.
I want to help build a St. Cloud where residents can feel proud to live, where small businesses can grow, where homeownership remains part of the future, and where public safety is treated as a priority.
My Priorities
My campaign is focused on three priorities that matter to St. Cloud residents: public safety, responsible and transparent city government, and growth that works for residents.
These priorities come from a simple belief: city leadership should listen, act with integrity, respect taxpayer dollars, and focus on making St. Cloud a safe, strong, and welcoming place to live, work, and build a future.
Let's Move St. Cloud Forward
I don't expect to agree with every one on every issue, but I do believe St. Cloud's best days are ahead of us. That future requires leadership that listens, works hard, and stays focused on the people who call this city home.
